Every individual can benefit from having an entrepreneurial mindset. You don't need to be running your own business to gain the benefits of the entrepreneurial mindset. The mindset is a set of 7 essential behaviours that lead to successful outcomes at any stage in your life and career.
With the wrong mindset you will probably be unable to see how your life could change for the better. With the right mindset you will be clear about what you want to do in life and see the path to achieving your goals. You will feel empowered and motivated, even in difficult times.
We use an easy to understand, common sense and practical definition of the entrepreneurial mindset. We use a mnemonic of the word MINDSET, where each letter corresponds to 1 essential entrepreneurial behaviour e.g. the letter M in MINDSET stands for Meet real needs.
Our MINDSET mnemonic is based on a systematic analysis of published research and professional practice. It provides a practical definition of the mindset which can be applied in a variety of work sectors and personal circumstances. It is a positive and robust way of working, not wishful thinking.
Entrepreneurs choose to take personal responsibility for making change happen. Like an entrepreneur, instead of waiting for someone else, you say to yourself "I think this change is important - how am I going to make it happen?"
There are similarities between the concepts of the entrepreneurial mindset and the 'growth mindset'. Both have a focus on learning and personal development. However, only the entrepreneurial mindset gives you additional benefits through its focus on how entrepreneurs think and act.
The Network’s mission is to enable individuals to create change - whether in their own lives, their team, their organisation or society - through the power of the entrepreneurial mindset. The mindset adapts to your personal needs & context.
